a welling up from the depths
fossil collections

As assemblages
including bottom-dwellers
helmet-like front shells

Matching upward trends
including bottom-dwellers
late winter, warm spells...

always been the all-important
headquarters sought
all because of places or origin

freewheeling, interlocking
lengthening, compelling
clicking, scratching, tapping
expressed as tactful parallels
with implicitly tragical impacts

underpinned with timbres
alternately abrasive
sweetly meditative
grievously clear...

along with light
greatly admired
like heightened
colors over time

with no concession
to distance
slightly diminished
by the last minutes
while reaching
instinctively
towards the intensely
physical

as diarists and antagonists
staring at flashing neon
like everyday objects
bringing to mind the bizarre
as both a prologue and an encore

an ordinary nobody
finding a sidekick
like a refugee
while inventing
a series
of moronic doubles
in mega-gags

without comic aptitude
nonetheless being excluded
by hard-hitting news
while walking upright
and mis-using tools
as distinctly human
and profoundly moving...

working with figures

in fidgety renderings
of reinvention

Tastes change quite a bit
attesting to preferences
wild-eyed, splayed painters...

occupying the bottom floors
slated to stay open
by staying under the radar

as a finished product
outstandingly larger-than-life
whole rows behind
especially outrageous

like latecomers turning the tables
seemingly incapable
and mostly exasperating
as so many mad fancies

cogently dramatic
outstripped by linear simplicity
while sinking slowly
into thick quicksand as a running gag...
