As a visitor nesting on a ledge
next to a mining bee
buzzing while crickets roll leaves
into tropical regions
with toughened forewings
where metamorphosis is incomplete
needlelike in conspicuous cylinders
laid singly or in masses folded flat
as damp plants in green grasslands...
