Hard to Embrace

" Hard to Embrace "

by Suzán Jiván

Performed on YouTube
as, " Largely Translations "

Largely translations
laid out
and hard to embrace
through a maze
of widely anticipated
implausible saliency
fast awakening
and up to date
In negotiation
as a coterie
near completion
modestly and cautiously
with a small light
turned on inside
once in a while
Starting out
as a fractal
without pitch
or timbre
modestly
picturing
the naïveté
as a stranger
shall we say
Down to the sources
of each tone
along slippery slopes
of probing pathos
further away
from per se
As a warm attachment
to the past
walking or chattering
while glowing
in amber somewhere
As hapless stepping stones
neither knowing
nor mastering
stratospheres
of inanity
with find madness
scandalously stacked
As aimless characters
making pitiable statements
like madcap beanbag chairs
trying to spark odd concoctions
by dancing in the dark
embarking with eyebrows arched....
