Smears of Disappearing Ink

" Smears of Disappearing Ink "

by Suzán Jiván

Performed on YouTube
as, " Exploring Decay "

Exploring decay
in a transparent tank
filled with rank
remains requiring
repeated viewings
of reclining nudes
as seen in minute
smears of disappearing ink
Leaving white lines
of monotypes
created
for the entire
multiplication table
as an exaggeration
filed away
with a suicidal bride
in a silent afterlife
As the unprintable title
of fogged-over eyes
begrudgingly ending up
in a prison like
jumbled mind
with mood lighting
Dancing awkwardly
away from the limelight
seemingly mesmerized
by the finality of accuracy
snuggling in mink
intent on retarding it
In fits and starts
with a shot in the arm
of the obvious
Suspended logic
holding on with a nod
to the probable
as a cultivated star
of the foreign
with alarm
Like a guest artist
never wanting
the hardly
unwelcoming
milking of publicity
like a potbellied pig
Gone unnoticed
after bringing down
the house
before a crowd
in an intimate
single ring
of the long familiar
within inches...
